Whether you’re charged with a marijuana case, or a cocaine case, or a case involving methamphetamine, or perhaps heroin, or perhaps your case involves prescriptive drugs, or the possession of prescriptive drugs without a prescription or the abuse of prescriptive drugs in some way. I have represented clients for three decades in this community on charges of unlawful possession, possession for sale, distribution involving both illegal and prescription drugs.
The key is always to try to have felonies reduced to misdemeanors, misdemeanors perhaps diverted or deferred out of the criminal justice system. Certainly avoiding the stigma of a permanent criminal record.
And the reality is also that on many of these cases there are substance abuse problems and there’s life issues concerning the abuse of drugs that I’m here to help you address by way of recommending outpatient or inpatient treatment. And all of that can be very helpful in successfully resolving your case, addressing the perhaps underlying issues that may occur.
